Although we may not know exactly what is ahead, we can trust that God does and He will see us through whatever lies ahead for us. He has promised to be faithful and His Word is true. We can rely on Him for guidance, comfort, and hope when facing uncertain times in our lives.
Submission to Government Authorities

Repay No Evil With Evil
The Bible tells us in Romans 12:17-21 to always seek to do good and to repay evil with good. We are not to be overcome by evil, but instead we must overcome evil with good. We are called to love our enemies and not respond in kind when someone has wronged us. We should bless those who curse us, and do good to those who hate us. It is natural for us to want to retaliate when wronged, however, the Bible tells us that vengeance belongs only to God.
The Apostle Paul encourages us in Romans 12:19-20, “Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.’ To the contrary, ‘if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.’” Paul reminds us that revenge from our own hand will not bring justice but rather leave a lasting scar of bitterness and resentment on our heart.
Rather than being bitter or seeking revenge when we have been wronged, we should seek justice without vengeful intent. Instead of seeking revenge it is better to seek forgiveness from God and ask Him for His help in restoring relationships with those who have hurt us. By doing so we show others that Jesus has changed our hearts and can change their hearts as well.
